Comment:

The best professor I have ever had. Nagengast is hilarious, sarcastic, and extremely intelligent. Unlike many other professors, he knows how to make presentations and keep you on your toes the whole time. My only regrets are that I didn't take another one of his courses and the classes were only 50 minutes long. Time would fly so fast.

Nags is so in depth and an excellent professor overall. His Intro course is very intense but I learned a lot from it and you develop some real international relations and policy skills. You also develop an effective way to write a research paper on policy and a keen sense of the Arab-Israeli Conflict. He's tough but it's worth it in the end.

Nags is extremely intelligent and runs great courses. Not easy but you learn A LOT. Outside of class he is very easy to get along with. If you need help he's always there. If he knew I was saying this he'd kill me (he has a reputation to maintain) but he's a big softy deep down

I had Nagengast for a summer program as a high school student. Because of his teaching alone, I will apply to Juniata. His sense of humor takes some getting used to, but he's hilarious. Class is NEVER boring, and he's always playing devil's advocate. He's my favorite teacher, and our constant discussions are engaging and challenging. The best!

Dr. Nagengast is a hard professor, however, you learn a lot from taking his courses. He is willing to help and is always there to try and clarify things for his students. He comes off very intimidating at first, but get to know him and he is not that intimidating. Awesome professor!
