Crazy scatterbrain hyped woman. Talks in circles, not knowing what to do. Gives unclear and confusing details about syllabus. Tests are simple, but why cant she keep it straight in class. Shows little or no respect for others, and that her word is law...Horrible Experience...Retire Grandma...Please Retire

Dr. Watts truly is a terrible professor. She will talk to you like you are three, interrupt you, yell at you, and completely disregard what you say by belittling you. I suppose her class is easy if you are one of her favorites, but if not, beware, she is VERY disposition happy for VERY small things.

THE WORST TEACHER IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE. I am usually the type of student that really gets along with every teacher. Professor Watts is just plain rude. I could go on and on about how awful she is and the reasons why, but I'll leave it at this; do yourself a favor and pick a different teacher.

This was the worst teacher I have ever had! She makes you feel like a child. She is rude and will interrupt you when you try to ask her a question. She even tried to sway our opinion seconds before we rated her in our teacher evaluations! I have never seen a teacher do that so clearly she knows she is in trouble. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!!

I rarely take into account the professor ratings, however, in this case I wish I would have. She does not know how to teach college students, and therefore treats her students like children. Picks favorites, does not offer help, truly a negative reflection of the special education department at Illinois State University. Do not take.

She is the most inconsiderate professor I have ever had! She doesn't take what you have to say seriously & she treats her students like they are children. She is constantly yelling at the class for things they didn't even do (e.g., students going on Facebook)& makes students feel like complete morons for asking her a question. DON'T EVER TAKE HER!

The semester prior to taking her class, I would walk by her classroom every once in awhile & overhear her screaming at people. Lucky for me, I got to have her for my teacher. I will never understand how any person who teaches others about special education, can be so rude, mean spirited and just plain cruel. She needs to rethink her career.

watts is a good person at heart but her tests are kind of difficult. course material is fun and intriguing - i definitely enjoyed taking this class. just study for the tests real well and do good on all of the mini projects and it'll be survivable.

seemed nice and first then of comes off as mean. not very helpful with questions on grade. Everything is a disposition issue to her. Sometimes talks to you like your stupid. Lots of powerpoints, not as hands on as you would think

The first day she seems very nice. She also makes the class seem fairly easy. However eventually you will get so backed up that you will have tons of projects due at once. Sometimes she is unclear on what she wants. I found her to be unapproachable. when you ask a question she yells and gets angry. she also yells if you are late or miss class

I agree with it started out fine, until we got behind and she jampacked group projects into the last 2weeks! She also had to cancel our 2nd exam because she rambled on too long and never got to that material. We were so far behind in her class and because of that we had to study for 7 chapters for our final (when our 1stexam was only 3ch)

I enjoyed her in 377 and made sure i had her in 379. The class is interesting and she is a fun teacher. There are a few projects but she gives you plenty of time and extends time if needed. I enjoyed her both semesters

Yea she starts out really nice and you like her class. But then she starts to ramble on and on about nothing wasting a lot of class time. We didnt have our first exam until after the midterm and she packs projects together assigning multiple ones at a time. Too much work for a relatively simple subject. Nice lady but not a good teacher.
