I had Professor Aloo for Expos I and II back in Fall 2003/Spring 2004 semesters. He's one of the only professors I truly respect and look up to. His class is difficult and in order to earn my A I had to work my tail off. Office hours are a must. He really makes you think in ways you didn't know you were capable of. Exceptional and high quality!

Expos isn't meant to be an easy course, however, Aloo gets you bored in class. When it comes down to grades Aloo disappoints. You need to work your tail off to get a B and an A is impossible. You'll get a C in the class if you put in effort, however if you are looking for a sure B or higher, definitely look elsewhere.

It is possible to get an A, but you have to work extremely hard. He is often hard to understand as he both has an accent, and some odd points to make. Overall any expos class is gonna suck, so the prof doesn't matter much. My advice: Go to tutoring

He was a good guy all semester. Not THAT hard. But when it came to crunch time with final grades, he did not deliver. He may appear innocent, but he can bite. However, one of the easier expos teachers IMO. Passionate and helpful too. But he doesn't fit in well with the American educational system. He has a rather foreign way about him.

Very good professor. Easy class. If you attend class most of the time and do the readings, it is easy to get an A. He is passionate about the subject and clearly enjoys teaching. Doesn't overwhelm you with homework/ readings. Definitely recommend.

I could not understand this Professor at all. On top of that, it was the most boring class ever. He is very helpful though and it is an easy class. Class participation is 20% of your grade and it makes it difficult when its painful to sit through class because it's so boring. Class Attendance mandatory too.

Excellent Professor. He is a critical thinker and encourages his students to think critically as well. If you are actually interested in the classes he teaches and want to learn something, take his class. It is also important to attend his class or else it just shows that you don't care and, as a result, your grade might be lowered.

Had him for Expo. The class itself is bad however Prof. Aloo is a good teacher. He definitely helped me improved to be a better writer and reader. If you just listen to him in class and understands what he is looking for then it is easy to get an A.

He has a very heavy accent and hard to understand at times. As the cours progresses, he grades harder and harder. Overall, he is very helpful anaylzing passages and helps improve your writing if you are willing to meet him half way.

Excellent professor. WILL help you if you are struggling, nicest person I have ever met. However, he is not as easy, you work for you grade, so those who are complaining on here either never tried at getting an A or simply suck at writing but they should stop blaming their failures on Prof. Aloo. because he is the nicest teacher ever.

Enock leads discussions really well- even people who are usually quiet and shy want to talk. He expects students to write good papers, but is very understanding when it comes to handing them in late it you have a valid excuse. He does everything he can to help you get a good grade

What a dick. His "help" is to have his students teach. If he decides he doesnt like you, he tries to screw you over. I was on crutches for the second half of the semester and he tried to fail me for being "late" five min every class period. He dropped my grade to a C based on "attendance". Luckily the writing director isnt an ass and fixed it.
