Dr. Donovan is an excellent lecturer and has very interesting historical and anecdotal asides. He explains the material in a manner that is geared towards being a future physicist and cares more about understanding than particular answers. Hard to get a hold of outside of class, and did not prepare a final exam practice question booklet he promised

No no no no. Do not believe those before me. I had Eric when he was a brand new prof. The guy is the most stubborn and arrogant people there. He thinks he's hip and friendly but in reality he cared more about making TENURE more than helping students. I came into class sick and delirious to take his exam just so I didn't have to talk to him

I still remember stuff from his thermodynamics class years later. Very challenging guy but you learn a lot. Wish I had more professors like him!
