He left all teaching to other professors that he would invite to class for Crits. He did NOTHING. He likes to use large vocabulary words (often incorrectly) to feel superior. I got absolutly nothing from him. He at least chose good guest professors that taught us something.

had him for four classes (too many times) but was worth it in the end. was one of the only profs teaching theory and research at the time at LTU. encourages students to think about what they're doing and why instead of saying, "because i think it looks nice."

You have to go into his class with an open mind. Eric will push for a critical architectural stance in your project which will result in a quality project but other component teachers may not find it practical. I would take him at least once if you are willing to push your thinking and work habits.

does not take certain matters to which he should into his own hands. has tendancy to believe his way is the only way and is sometimes prone to make students believe that their ideas are not acceptable, not aloud. i believe that intentsions are not full.

Hands down - best architecture professor at LTU. Believes in rigor and quality of production, which often ends up with students labeling as "too hard." He will open your mind to new and original thought. Fills up instantly on registration day

Theoretical/Artsy Proff. CanB lotswork, but thats IDS. Near mid ground for amount work. Quality = important. Only take him once! Will open your mind with his strange philosophies, but get other viewpoints. Seems crazy but once u get used2 its not too bad.
