This teacher obviously cares about his class and the material he uses. It is online and he includes supplemental podcasts and has the clearest grading criteria I have seen at NJIT. I would take him again if I had the chance. Only thing is, he's kind of tough with the papers. He wants very specific things but lets you revise them.

this was one my first online courses and i must say it was everything that i expected. it wasn't hard, you simply have to work at it. the online quizzes aren't that tough. you simply need to read the textbook. and for the assignments actually work on them. dont BS them. because they're half your grade. i would definitely recommend

don't take him. expects too much for an HSS at a tech school. He gave me an F after accusing me of plagarism because the central point of an essay I wrote was a popular consensus on the web for this one topic. Had a 3.8 GPA with honors HSS courses 'til this. The next semester I took the same class with another prof and ended with a B. go figure...

Easy online class. Just read the text and take a 10 question quiz...Very easy class to get an A in. Make sure you contribute to the online forums. Overall nice professor. Can't get an easier class than this.

Worth taking, just follow the notes, lessons, etc and you will do great. Never seen the professor unfortunately since it was an online class.

Thes other reviews are garbage. Prof. clearly states what he is asking for and if you follow what is asked of you; you will receive a good grade. Online/Summer - 5 essays with due dates go at own pace. Responds to e-mail on specific dates. Do the work get an A. No mystery behind this class. I recommend to anyone needing a LIT/STS/PHIL 300 level.

For an online class, there was alot of work. 1 group project, 1 term paper, weekly posting of comments on case readings from the book, 1 midterm, and 1 final. You will have read the whole book by the end of the semester. Biggest pain was the group project because its tough to get organized w/people u dont know on webct, but in end it was not so bad

Take this course online. You have to write on WebCT every week, but it's much better than having to sit through the class twice a week. The only downside to the online course was the group project with randomly generated groups, so it was interesting, to say the least.

Take this class online. As long as you can write decently and do the readings you'll be fine. The only downside is the group project but that's life. He is a little slow to respond on webct, but responds in decent time on personal email.

This guy grades too hard for a philosophy class at a tech school. He expects too much. 1 term paper, 1 group project, weekly postings on the chapter/case studies, midterm, final (which both include 4-5 full essays all in under 2 hours). Ridiculous, and everything has to be perfectly written. I dont know HOW I ended up with a B but I'm happy.

He was a cool teacher. He was very flexible and understanding. All the work and tests were done through a website clled Moodle which is kind of like webct. Had to do one group oral project and all the work had was parts of a research paper. Overall good teacher.

Third time I had to take this guy, second time distance learning(DL). Here is how to master this guy...READ your readings and ALWAYS use key terms from the book for your papers. His online courses are MUCH EASIER than his regular classes. I went from C+ to B+(DL) to A(DL). In his online midterm and final, he may reuse test questions from midterm.

professor sucks! isn't really a good grader when it comes to hard work. takes 2 WEEKS to respond to emails and doesn't give enough support for a student's learning needs. avoid at all costs!!

Took his e-learning class. Basically, you write a short paper every week, a research paper, take a midterm and a final. He's not an easy grader, but a fair grader.
