Took the fully online class. If you choose this option, buy the textbook online. Its way more helpful when it comes to tests. Originally, we were supposed to have 4 tests and 4 essays, but he only had us do 2 essays. The tests were easy, I didn't study enough and I made mediocre grades, but the essay topics were easy enough to pass with 100's.

The professor was good but this class was not what I expected. Do not let the name fool you, the class reviews popular music throughout American history. However, I did find the majority of the information interesting and I would take this class again.

This class itself is very hard and his test are pretty hard. Don't take it if your looking to take something easy for an elective. The professor was helpful and very clear on instructions. I had no problems with him just the test and work was hard.

Take Prof. Late! I took the online class & its super super easy! It only takes you a day or 2 to read through the chapt's & do the unit questions!! Trust me! & if your not good at self paced, he gives you like a week or 2 per chapter, but if enough people email him he extends deadlines. Just take my advice and take this class!! Easy A! =)

I took Professor Late's distance learning American Popular Music class. He does his part in making the class clear and easy to understand. In return, you have to do your part in keeping up with the reading and the assignments. I would highly recommend taking him!

Took online American Popular Music. This class is very hands off. Just read the assigned chapters and you will do fine. He is very fair in his grading and there is not much interaction with the professor unless you need something. Everything is listed on BB that you need so you really do not need very much from the instructor. I highly recommend!

Amazing bass player if your taking his lessons. Jazz band is somewhat boring and do not agitate him...he will go off on society in general. Also open minded with soloists...only likes old music
