He doesn't let you choose your own film instead he forces you to watch specific ones that he had chosen. The exam and quizzes are on the book/chapter that was assigned. I also took an 8week online course. It'd have been better if he could have summarized the main points in note form for us and test us on those. Best of luck.

by far the best teacher I've had @ Valley. Funny, interesting, good stories, explains everything! shows interest in what he teaches. just awesome. Hardly ever get A's but I got one in his class. He's taking a year off from what I heard, but if he ever comes back and you need a science class, TAKE HIM!

Had him for 2 sem. and enjoyed both. Very good teacher, clear and knowledgable. Great amount of experience to share. Funny and approachable. Test on what he teaches and if bood says otherwise you can argue and usually win. Very highly recommended.

Very approachable, knowledgeable. Keeps class light, enjoyable, yet covers material well. Always time for questions; gives good, thoughtful answers. When he doesn't know an answer (very rare), he will say so and not try to BS you. Highly recommended!
