Hands down, Peterson is one of the best professors in the engineering department. Expect work, lots of work. But also realize that the information covered is pertinent to real world applications. If you leave engineering because of Peterson, that's pathetic and you do not have the intellect to comprehend the material. Engineering isn't easy.

This guy was nasty and unhelpful. He was condescending when I went to his office for help. He needs to learn to treat all students with respect, not just his A students. It's obvious he knows the material, but he should understand that not everyone is a genuis like him.

Test are only 30% of the final grade and even though they're no calculator, they're still easy. Watch out for the lab reports; they are time consuming. Second test on Fourier transform is the hardest one. I would definitely take him again.

Heavy workload, but the class is fair. He's an extremely good professor. His notes are well organized and thorough. He expects professional results from your lab reports, but he's very clear about that from the beginning. The airflow contest at the end is lots of fun. I'd highly recommend him.

He's a brilliant guy. He's tough though and expects you to work for the grade. He understands that communication is very important and is picky about things like grammar in lab reports. If you put the effort in, you will definitely learn from him.

this guy sucks ass!! projects are 20 pages long and there are like 5 or 6... tests are right from the notes though.. but he gives random quizzes so you have to be there every day.. guy is too smart to be an undergrad teacher, makes you feel dumb a lot.&qu
