I took this class as a requirement and ended up loving it. He fosters great discussion, is very knowledgeable, and makes things that could be dull very interesting. Plus, he's just a nice guy. My only complaint would be that he sometimes allows 1 student to dominate discussion even if they are clearly off the deep end with their analysis

great teacher, kept me interested throughout the class. he's the type of guy that lets the class take control of the classroom and he mediates (very well too). He's quite relaxed, and is extremely helpful in writing great papers.
