Excellent prof. Took during mini summer and wish I would've taken full semester! Makes class very interesting, easy to engage. Highly recommend. Tests are kind of tough, but as long as you study, you'll be fine. Tests are mc,short ans, and essay.

The class is hard but Dr. Vanman is very helpful and rewarding when he sees that you are taking intiative. I suggest visiting during his office hours to show that you are interested even if you don't have much to say.

I'm a Bio major, so this class was alot of repeat material or memorization. NOT EASY in the least if you're not into science. DO NOT TAKE THIS IF YO U'RE LOOKING FOR AN EASY A! This is a grade you have to work for. There's a paper, and tests come mostly from the text.

Dont xpect a curve/xtra credit. read the book. notes are helpful, but 95% of test from the book. learned a lot in his class. no papers. u do have easy workbook ass woth 30 pts. (10 in total which is an easy 300 points) first test is worth 200. second and last are 250. i studied hard and have a borderline B/A goin into the final. hes really nice!

He's a good proffessor. he's very clear. BUT he's very hard. You are gonna have to be ready to memorize alot because he does not give reviews for tests. He just wants you to memorize everey single thing in the book, which I kind of didn't like.
