First half of the semester was negative. Second half was positive. She was very vague and chaotic. Way too nice to be helpful. Disorganized in the way she led the class. The good part is towards the end, when u have a building (and critique the drawings of a full building) that she becomes really useful and interesting. Um, take another teacher.

erika leads a fun studio with an emphasis on hands on exploration of design. if you can make it past her esoteric way of speaking, erika's studio at its core is about fostering your own ideas and voice in creating a project by using a variety of design methods.

Erika doesnt work with ur ideas at all. Throughout the whole semester i was non movivated and lost with my own project. very Vague and havind a desk crit with her is really more than helpfull is very frustrating. Did not enjoyed design at all with her.
