Loved his lectures. Very interesting and knows his stuff. TA for seminar was iffy, but overall learned alot and wish he was teaching more courses in the program.

He really is very knowledgable, but is set in his beliefs about social policy (anti-Harris, Conservatives, pro-healthcare, immigration).. so be aware when commenting in class. Put in some effort and you'll do well on assignments, he seems tough, but he's fair. Don't bother coming to seminar after you've done your paper and presentation.

Ernie is excellent - he is truly the most inspiring teacher - and I was not interested in the topic. Very dynamic, very open to discussion, extremely interesting man. I wish he taught other topics!

This professor doesn't like to be challenged on his beliefs. He has been very rude and mean to students (including myself). The class is of some value but is taught in a very rigid and boring fashion (with the professor always having the final word).
