does not use powerslides and take notes, only talks and talks fast which is a disadvantage for those who take notes on their notebooks not laptops. jumps from topic to another, unclear about every topic being discussed. i suggest he should do his readings ahead before teaching in class because once the lecture starts, that is when he does it

Cons -He doesn't post anything about the lectures online -he doesn't allow recordings -he doesn't use power point slides or any aids - the material that will be on tests or assignments is entirely vague. If asked what's on the test, he'll say "all of it, you have to know everything from lectures and readings" Pros -he's a good speaker

Dr. E. Hamm was one of the most interesting professors i have had at this school. Made the course interesting and was helpful and approachable. Very emphatic during lectures and took pride in what he was teaching. Pay attention in class and you will do good. Enjoys when students participate, and very knowledgeable prof.

He is such a stereotypical professor. For some reason I find him hilarious even though I sleep through his lectures :warning - if he's testing you on an article and it's about two main scientists with a small reference to another, it will be about the other scientist. Good taste in film. He's probably a riot outside of class.

Dr. Hamm knows his stuff and he delivers it in most unique and interesting way possible for his students. Very nice person and fair marker. He has an attractive french accent but easy to understand. DO NOT SKIP HIS LECTURES! NOT ONLY THEY WILL BE A GREAT HELP FOR YOUR EXAM BUT THEY ARE JUST THAT GOOD!

Challenging, insightful, and intelligent professor. Heavy course content involving loads of written work. A+ can be obtained with hard work and active participation in tutorials. His lectures are clear and concise. Makes 'boring' subjects engaging!!!
