Great guy, often helped me out with homework and tests. He really cares about the students an doesn't have a big head at all. (rare for math professors) told a lot of corny jokes but it made class fun.

Mark is a fantastic teacher. He is a professor who truly cares about his students. He will do anything within his power to help get it through to you, including tutoring in the lab at 6PM on a Friday night. I very very much impressed with this instructor.

Not being a math person, I thought his class was quite difficult. He was a really nice guy though. If you have a problem, you have to ask about it, because he will just assume you know. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
