I've long graduated college with a bio degree,however anytime I look back on my path I wish I would have taken someone else so my GPA wouldnt have taken as much of a hit.Long story short you can get a better quality education from the other profs without wanting to slam your head in a car door.yes its possible to pass with her,its just not worth it

Not easy at all. You have to put the time in and you'll get the grade. She read directly from the slides when I took her, and all the information was straight from the book, but her tests were fairly long.

She's a decent teacher, demanding but fair and helpful if you're willing to study and do the work. She's willing to meet with you to answer questions or to go over things you don't understand. But don't try to bluff. If you don't put the time and work in, you'll fail the course!

She may not be the most "helpful" professor, but you will learn a lot in her classes if you try. She expects you to learn and study on your own, but will go over what she feels is most important in class. Overall this class was moderate in difficulty, but I learned a lot! I would take her again!

Simply the worst professor I've ever had. She has no interest in her classes and would not help during office hours. Highest grade in BIO 1 was a 57%, she did not curve. I retook this class with Dr. Paz and got an A. Avoid this teacher at all costs!!

after the first test she tells us that the average grade was a 56 and she didnt expect us to go "SO GOOD".. wat the hell.. i got the highest grades in the class on every test and still ended up with a B.. def takes ALOT of studying.. but if youre looking for a 4.0 DO NOT take her.. noone gets an A.. although she does curve final grades, at least 1/

SHE WAS THE WORST PROF I HAVE EVER HAD!HER TESTS ARE 100 QUESTIONS IN 45 MINUTES.THERE ARE ONLY 3 TESTS IN THE WHOLE CLASS.YOU FAIL ONE YOU FAIL THE CLASS.AND THE FINAL WAS 200 QUESTIONS IN LIKE 2 HOURS.DURING CLASS SHE WAS KNOWN TO PUT HER OVERHEADS UPSIDEDOWN AND BACKWARDS.SHE DIDNT EVEN NOTICE SHE JUST KEPT ON TEACHING LIKE NOTHING WAS WRONG!

Good professor. I read these reviews after getting stuck in her class and was very worried, but she turned out to be a good professor. She has her quirks but if you want to actually learn and get a good preparation for higher level bio courses, take her. She's really not as terrible everyone makes her out to be- they're just lazy.
