Look, you don't have to sweat this guy! This will be one of the worst classes you will ever have, the guy just reads from the book, burps non-stop, and the tests are ridiculously hard! I got a 30% on the 2nd test and still got a B- in the class, just do what u can the lowest grade u can get is a C! Its really a joke class but nothing 2 worry about

be prepared to work. he knows his stuff but you will end up reading mostly from the book. Very very nice curve on tests. Come to class and listen and there's no reason you shouldn't get a B. Not your typical teacher VERY old fashioned

He took attendance three times per class, even after holding class longer than required because of the RNC. We were penalized for leaving after class was technically supposed to end, yet because he was late 20-30 minutes late each class and spent a disproportionate time reviewing homework, class was held later than necessary. Avoid at all costs!

He is every students worst nightmare. Shows up late every class therefore makes you stay late. Can't reach him outside of class. He talks way to fast and he doesn't articulate so it sounds like he is mumbling. Doesn't teach at all . Ninety percent of the class is him reading from the book. Tests do not match his lectures. Worst prof. At CSU.

Dr. Rozen he usually shows up late. Even though the homework and attendance are not factors in the grade according to the syllabus that not true. He makes up for it by being easy grader. Their are 3 exams in his class I bomb the second still received an A in his class. If you want to pass he is must have.

Where to begin ... he's usually 15-20 minutes late to class; constantly does this burping thing under his breathe that is incredibly annoying; lectures consist of him reading straight from the book; spends 15 minutes a class just assigning hw that is not actually graded ... i could go on and on No real need to go to class ... passed with 100%

He is not a teacher at all. He reads from the book, and talks pretty fast, so sometimes you may not understand what he said. Does not use board at all. no GRADED homework, but does assign homework out of the book. honestly, you will learn hardly nothing in class, everything you will learn will be from reading the book. Curves test, easy B or higher

I struggled at first but it came out well for the whole semester. Here are the tips to be successful in his class: keep studying hard, be well prepared before class, focus every word in class, ask questions right away in class if you are confused, ask more in office time. I asked so many questions and he answered all my questions until I understood

No teaching style, very book smart but lacks any real world application during class. Does not reach. Reads the book to you during one session, the next you are reading the book to him as part of homework review. I enjoy accounting and it's my major, highly recommend you don't take this prof. I plan to send detailed documentation to the department

This professor simply read the chapters aloud to the class. He did not teach the material and would not answer questions asked during class. He you want to actually learn accounting, I would not recommend his course. If you just want to pass, take it!

Very hard, but very solid. He actually teaches the entire time instead of just boasting about his life like half the other CSU profs. Work hard and you'll learn a lot. Get an A too.

This was the smartest professor on campus - and VERY helpful. I used office hours, and he answered all my questions. If you are a good student and will do the work, you will appreciate Dr. Rozen. If not, you'll be like most of the other posters - waiting for spoon feeding, and deserving a D or F. Best prep for the CPA you can find.

If you like professors who teach while slouched in a chair, this is the guy for you. He makes accounting even more boring than you would expect. I stopped going to class after the first exam (average score was 45%) and decided to teach myself instead. It is impossible to fail this class based on the curves he gives. Wouldn't recommend.

I didn't think this class was that bad. He is not the most interesting professor to listen to, but he is a very good accountant. He is extremely fair in the way he grades and gives tests. If you show the effort, you will do fine in this class!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS FROM HIM !!! He talked to himself all the clas and he thought he was teaching. NO he did not teach anything and he was horrible. But no matter how bad you are he will give you "B". He ses the book a lot he actually reads the book to you.

He does not use the book for his tests. He has his own Acct language and it is hard to figure out what he is trying to say on his tests. He is kind of gross and mumbles all the time. Gives huge curves because everyone fails his tests. The average score of the first midterm was a 44%. Change classes immediately. He is awful.

I just finished my final and wanted to tell you don't take him EVER! Like everyone else said, I DONT KNOW WHY HE IS TEACHING! Reads word for word. Don't bother asking questions because he will tell you that all problems should be done at home. nope wont answer your questions. he refuses! figure it out yourself.
