He's a really nice guy. Seems like he loves what he does. But his class was so boring, and I ended up spacing out most of the time. Got an A, but really, don't go for the experience.

Comment:

Klimko was the man for calc! He let the class use formula sheets and tests were more then fair. During class he spends half the time telling stories which can get annoying but attendance is not mandatory except for quizzes which is every discussion. He is a great guy who will really work with you until you grasp the concept.

Comment:

Klimko is a very good professor. He absolutely loves to tell stories and he will repeat many of them. However, he shows up to class late every day, which made less time for teaching material. The quizzes are extremely easy, but the tests are a bit challenging. If you have to take Calc 3, I would definitely recommend Klimko.

He follows the textbook very closely so since lecture not a lot of ppl go, he goes over examples in class though. Tests are fairly long for only having an hour to complete. Very knowledgeable and teaches well and makes jokes

I rarely went to lectures, and because of it, had to study the old exams a LOT longer than usual. I expected to get an A/A- but ended up with a B+ because the final had a 7 point question that I had never SEEN before (so I automatically lost 7 points). This class wasn't horribly hard, but it wasn't easy either.

He allows cheat sheets on tests which is a big help cus his multiple choice questions are tricky. Luckily he posts past exams online and he tends to recycle questions from those. Lectures are helpful since he does a lot of sample problems. Going really minimizes study time.

He is lenient and fair. I don't understand how people get below A-/A in the class. Show up, copy the practice problems, go to discussion = easy A. Definitely do the old exams. Easy A, just don't be lazy. Discussions are a must!!

Klimko is such a sweet man. He loves telling stories during lecture. Unfortunately most of his lectures are boring and hard to follow. You do not need to go to class in order to pass. As long as you do well on the final exam, you will do well in the class. Your also allowed to bring a cheat sheet to the exam!

extremely easy class but he is a really boring lecturer so i stopped going to class and only went for exams i ended up with a B+ but i know I could've gotten an A by just going to class. "You get no lower than what you get on the final." Best policy ever. Klimko makes calc-based stats look like simple arithmetic. Allows graph calculator + open book for quizzes/tests and 2 cheat sheets for tests. Course could not be any easier. Loves to tell stories (often repeats them). Do problems before quiz/test + bring textbook = A.

Study the practice exams and you'll do well. Tests are basically just the practice exams. Gives you a cheat sheet. Discussion is very TA sensitive depending on if you get a good one or not. Bottom line I had a C going into the final got an A- on the final and he replaces your grade with the final grade so I got an A- Moves eyebrows often + boring

Klimko is the man. Not only does he let you have the book, he gives you a cheat sheet. He answers any question you might have and he is very clear for a stat teacher. His stories are very entertaining and make class worth it (if you understand the material). Bing's math department blows, but Klimko is a shining bright spot. I am taking him again
