I consider I can take constructive criticism pretty well, but she has scarred me for life. I often hear her voice in the back of my mind telling me my design will never be good enough. I know other students have gained a lot from her class, but I have gained only self consciousness and doubt.

Eva is in phase retirement now, but she has been very helpful to me throughout my sophomore year. She is willing to meet outside of class to give constructive criticism and to present real life questions you might encounter on the job. She's a great professor, but you can't slack...although its an art class, so thats kind of understood.

I actually really loved this class, it set a tone for what the rest of my college career would be like, and I learned very fast how to have an effective work ethic. Eva did a great job keeping me humble too :-). definitely worth taking again.

Eva may be a hard professor BUT you can learn so much from her if you are really dedicated. Most students who don't like her, don't because she makes you work hard. The harder you work the more you will learn. And the more you learn the better prepared you will be for the "real world."

She is a challenging teacher and you will get what you put into the class.If you work with her and try hard, you will get some great work out of it for your portfolio.She encourages you to think creatively and professionaly and i believe being in her class is the closest thing to the "real world" compared to other teachers.

Her criticism is just part of the class (and major for that matter). Yes, there have been times when I wish she was a bit more clear on directions, but overall she's an alright prof. The class is not supposed to be an easy A. I worked really hard and somehow got a B.

She's a great professor! The negative comments are probable from people who slack off. She has remained friends with me and many of my fellow classmates. Don't take her if you want an easy A, but if you want to learn shes great.
