I took Value Investing class with Diz. There were 4 quizzes and 5 case studies during the semester. Lectures were boring and class was not enjoyable. Final exam was literally a combination of all previous quizzes, which you do not need to study anything additional. By far, the worst finance class that I've ever taken at Syracuse.

Preface: I am an A+ student with an outstanding academic record. I love a challenge, I love finance, I have no issue working hard to get an A. While Professor Diz is clearly very knowledgeable with the content, this class was taught far too quickly, without regard for non-OVF students. If you are not in OVF, you will struggle immensely.

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. It's not structured and he doesn't post his office hour on syllabus. Materials are overwhelming and he dose not really clarify it. There is no requirement for this class except fin core but you need know "EVERY" aspects of finance in order to understand. He is not helpful at all. Try to avoid this course.
