I took Math104 with her and she is considered a pretty hard prof compared to the other sections. I started out failing but she really is quite good during office hours and is a big sweetheart. With a little bit of hardwork and effort, it's definitely possible to do well. She prepares you well for the final exam. Got 88% in the end!

At first it was hard to cope with her way of teaching. Though I realized paying special attention to her examples was very helpful because sometimes the homework or the examples she gives during lectures can end up in her midterms. She did a very good job preparing us for the final. Her midterms were hard but prepared us for the final.

At first I thought she was super hard, but that seriously helped us prepare for the final. She's also really nice and has lots of office hours. Especially now that I am in another prof's math course, I seriously appreciate her

I took her Integral Calculus course and did really well; Florina's a sweetheart and helped me out a lot. I started out failing my first year math course with a 26%. I seriously hated it with a passion like most people. Then i studied my butt off and got a 95%. You have to learn to love it in order to do real well.

Probably intelligent, but has no idea how to relate her knowledge to students. I learned almost nothing in classes, but managed to pass the course easily because I had a friend who tutored me. Horrible teacher.

I did poorly in her class because I didn't spend the time necessary to understand the material. When you asked her to clarify a concept, she simply repeated what she had already said and gestured at the board. I'm not the best judge of her teaching abilities, but be prepared for lots of hard work.
