Forrest is a really nice guy, he means well and is always willing to help. That said i would never take another class taught by him. His lectures are like watching paint dry. If confusing his students were not enough already, he often gets lost and confuses himself. Problem sets are time consuming and difficult. Test averages are around 60%.

Nelson is a great teacher and a fun guy. Lectures can be boring, but it's micro theory. The entire class comes from the textbook, so learn to love reading it. He grades on problem sets, midterms, and a final. The problem sets can be difficult, but he will always help in office hours. The tests are hard as well, but manageable. Would recommend.

difficult teacher to understand and follow, microeconomics was a hard class b/c he didnt do a good job explaining stuff. TA's were horrible as well, didnt help at all. if taking microeconomics, dont take it was forrest, ull regret it later

Class was difficult to pay attention to, he went off on tangents (not fun ones!!) and his explanations were pretty bad. Even with a good TA, his class was pretty hard just because he was that bad at teaching. He DOES know his stuff, but he sucks in front of an audience. Real Bad.

Not a good teacher. Would not recommend him to anyone. If possible do not take his class. He, as one other person noted, is a TOOL. TA's could be part of the reason class sucked, not good communication between Prof and TA's. Lectures do not help for tests.
