This class was awful. He gives you an impossible amount of reading and then vaguely covers the material. We are given reading quizzes once a week with obscure questions that dont really apply to the text. He is a difficult grader on essays and puts a large focus on grammer. This class is certiantily not an essay A and took a harsh toll on my GPA

This was the absolute worst class I have taken yet at assumption. Father Rodger calls on people randomly at the start of every class to ask questions about the previous readings from the night before. Expects you to do an impossible amount of reading and gives you a 60 on every essay if its not A+ material. DO NOT take him under any circumstance.

All around, this class was pretty bad. The whole thing is disorganized, theres no structure to the lecture or class at all. He goes off on tangents for the whole class and then is very far behind talking about the reading but still assigns new readings anyway. Also, the first and only test you will have is the final. NEVER TAKE HIS CLASS

Father Roger is a very smart man....I will give him that. However, he is a worthless professor. He gives intensely hard readings and expects you to be experts. He gives you in-class paragraphs which you will never get a hundred on... NEVER TAKE HIM!!!

He has no real lesson plan and tends to just ramble on, and not make sense about what he's talking about. And then he throws papers back at you about what he "teaches" but it never makes any sense. Also, he is not clear on what he wants done and he has a hard time accepting feed back.

Fr. Roger's intro class is very difficult. If you are looking for an easy A, this is not the class to take. However, I have learned a lot. Not only about theology, but also about writing and forming an argument. Although his class was difficult and certainly not the most lively of my semester, I think that it was still a valuable experience.

I had Fr. Roger twice because of the Tagaste program, and he is also my advisor. He is a SMART and WONDERFUL guy, but an AWFUL professor. His lectures are very boring and he is a SUPER HARD grader!!!!! He doesn't give many tests but they are INSANELY difficult!!!! If you can, AVOID HAVING HIM AS A TEACHER. Otherwise he is a great, sweet man.

I hate to say this (because day 1 I thought I thought he was the cutest, sweetest guys ever - and in office hours he remains just as sweet) but Father Corriveau's class is a SNORE. I am not the kind of person to skip class but half way through the semester I find it torture to even think about sitting through this class and there is no format.

Fr. Roger is a nice guy but not the best professor. He teaches what is needed for papers the day papers are due, and his final is awful, he focuses too much on geography and dates that are irrelevant to what the actual story is.

Great Guy! I learned alot in his class. But you HAVE to read. Otherwise you're screwed for his tests and quizes. Goes out of his way to help you understand the Bible. Even gave my class study guides to go with our reading (helped sooo much!)

I was supposed to get Nachef, but i got screwed. So this guy replaces him and teaches it as if it were an honors course. Paper every week. Readings can be very long at times so try not to slack. talks in a very soft voice so sit close, take some stims,sleeping bag recommended.decent ovrall.

Not only is he a beautiful human being on the inside, but his classes are fun and enjoyable. he is constantly cracking jokes that make everyone laugh! He's so easy too! I highly recommend his bible course. If you have any problems with the material, which many people don't, just go 2 see him! :)
