Comment:

Franca is a good person, but her teaching is not very sufficient for her tests. She focusses too much on the self explanatory material and briefly skims past in depth and technical material. This would be fine if her tests followed the same pattern, but they do not. The materia taught in class is completely different then what shows up on tests.

Comment:

She is such a great teacher who explains very well. She is very helpful and caring. A lot of group projects, individual assignments and quizzes. In her exams, she allows 30 minutes of open book. She is very strict and firm when it comes to cheating and ethics which is what I admire about her.

Franca has to be the worst prof on campus. You have to tickle her just for a test review. Her lectures are full of bs and not even relevent to the course.

As a person, Franca is great, however, Franca as an educator just isn't good at all. Lectures are long and the talking never ends, I zoned out a lot. No type of diverse teaching methods to help students learn material in different ways to see what works the best. Tests are the worst, no guideline to help. I end up studying half of the wrong things

Had her for bism 201. She talks and talks and often gets caught up one subject for the whole class. rushed through the rest of slides. She doesn't teach well learn the textbook yourself . She is a nice person though and tests are not difficult.

Asks a lot of seemingly rhetorical questions... then waits for an answer. This is very frustrating and not an effective teaching method. It makes the students feel stupid. Treats her class like toddlers. Didn't learn anything this course. Still got a good grade so she gets a 2.

Franca is a very nice person but I didn't like her teaching method as I was able to learn nothing (She taught her class like a elementary school teacher). Her test are textbook based so as long as you read the book, you could easily pull an A and there is in class activities (Case studies) which she marks very leniently and are free 16 marks.

Great Prof, Easy marker. Her multiple choice test can be pretty tricky but allows us to use cheat cheat for 10 mins. You need to buy the book if you expect to do good in the class.

Ms. Giacomelli is one of the best professors at Humber College. She really loves teaching, cares about your success, and really wants to help you so much. Shares her knowledge/experience about Operations Management. Plus she looks hot! However, her tests are kinda random and a hard marker. BUT MICHAEL MABAHAL IS THE BEST PROF EVER!
