Loved Dr. G yet this class is no joke. Her 5 page single spaced papers are not easy and she does not hold back on grading. Going to her before you start writing your papers is a must! Also don't wait till last minute to write them, you'll regret it. She's a great and interesting lady though.

I had Grodzinsky for Computer Ethics - hard class in that you have a lot of work to keep up with: discussion boards, journals, and 4 pretty hard papers. She is a nice lady and helpful, just do not get on her bad side, especiialy since you will have her for more than this class if you are a CS major.

Assigns 4 of the hardest papers you'll ever write - however, by the 2nd or 3rd one they should get a little easier. The classes themselves were actually quite interesting and thought provoking. I wasn't ever bored. She's a very nice woman and could be one of the smartest professors I've had. Keep up with the work and you'll be fine.

grods would be okay if you only had to have her once. Just too many classes that were pointless anyway. Too many things to memorize that are only in text books, not jobs. c'mon 6 chapter tests?

If you are taking Dr Grodzinsky class my advise to you is: Do not slack off in her class. You will fall behind really easilly. Keep up with all the assignment and readings and lectures. She does not like people who slack off. Be ready to work hard and put 110%. Definately taking her classes seriously in a must.

Dr. Grodzinsky is an execellent professor for any CS classes you take at SHU. She is a tough teacher but she is fair, and very organized. Definately knows her stuff, and she always prepared. You will learn alot with her. My advise to you is that yo go to every class, do her homework carefully, do all the reading and take good notes. Study hard.
