A nice person. But the hand-outs are difficult to understand, typos, no proper references and grammatical mistakes. It seems she cannot imagine how readers think of her written words. Probably she is purely not good at teaching/explaining something. However, she is definitely a nice person. So if you ask a question, she must be happy to answer.

Very nice lady, but does not prepare you properly for the exam. I wish she would go over practice problems with us and teach how to properly answer essay questions instead of discussing about current news in International Finance for 3/4 of the class.

Ridiculously large amounts of reading from textbooks. But if you don't read, don't expect to be able to figure out anything in class. The discussions on Economist and FT articles is interesting, but then if you aren't really getting anything that is being covered in class there is only so much you can participate in.

This professor taught in the MBA Japan program but unfortunately the class had the impression that she either did not care about the course or hated the class (perhaps both). Comes across more of an academic than a teacher - that is would probably prefer researching her own interest than teaching students.

Very nice person, weak teaching skills though. Those problem sets are a pain in the @ss and she is SO picky with those reports. But indeed, you will become a master in Excel models, which will eventually prove worthless on the final exam.

Really nice women, but not a great teacher. She never goes over practice problems in class, and then is surprised when everyone does poorly on the problem sets and midterm. She will prepare you really well to analyze data on Excel, though.

Has crazy mood swings. I asked if she marked our midterm and she replied "are you saying that I'm lazy?" Midterm was too easy and final was too hard. Beware if your midterm avg is high. Otherwise, okay prof and class.
