Comment:

One of my favorite professors. She is a little boring at times, but she takes you on a couple trips to museums which are pretty interesting. She gives you SO MANY chances to edit your essay and even goes through what you have to fix so that you can get an A on every assignment. Wonderful woman; I would highly recommend her.

I believe Dr. Tyler is an informative professor with intentions for us to succeed. Majoring in pharmacy, I still managed to take so much interest in her topics on history and art. I found them interesting as it cohered to our own course concept. She's a hard grader, but I liked her, the assignments, the reflections and the course concept. :)

Good professor. Don't think she'll let you over easy. You HAVE to work hard in her class. If you give a little more than expected you will get a good great. Don't just hand her anything because art is her world and she will KNOW!! You get what you put in! If you do what you're suppose to you'll do good because the syllabus is EASY!

She comes across as being a sweet old lady but don't take her.She have an attitude and expect her students to respond to the art as she would.The slides are boring a great time to take a nap and for her test she expect you to write a book for each question.We had to go to 3 musemues which was the highlight.

Very disorganized. I did well, but extremely unfair grader because she doesn't tell you what her standards are for "good performance". Syllabus is unhelpful. Class trips are poorly planned despite importance towards the final grade. Students don't respect her in class which turns class discussion into a joke. She should just retire from teaching.

do not take this class if u can help it. the lady is unreasonable,unprepared and a very hard grader. she pretends to be nice but she is a misery.4 trips with prolong standing and she will lower your grade if you miss one of her rushed trips. no exceptions she's a horrid teacher and very unprepared.

She seemed like a sweet little old lady, but then she turns vicious when it comes to grading. She praised me throughout the entire semester, then gave me a 'D' because I didn't "write enough". Has a bad habit of saying "Write a nice little essay", as if we were six years old.
