Best teacher I had so far at this school. If you read the book and go to class, You will do fine. Funny guy, also most interesting class I took. Interesting books and just a cool guy. Thankful for grading curve and did ok on tests and still had a good grade. Lots of extra credit opportunities as well.

I seemed to have been the only one, but I never read the textbook once and got an A in the class (tests are very textbook based). To me the class was pretty easy, Schreiber was a great professor and really cared about teaching and helping students. I cant speak for the difficulty as I seemed to be the only that didnt find it too bad.

5 tests which are based on the chapters in the book (you must read them thoroughly to do good on the tests) and 5 pop quizzes. The lowest scores of each is dropped. Class is interesting sometimes. Lots of extra credit opportunities and he grades on an amazing curve (34/60 was an A on one test). Overall a great guy that cares about his students!

Lectures are very interesting and he seems very knowledgeable and caring about what he teaches. He's been teaching this class for around 30 years so a lot of the information is outdated. He gives 5 pop quizzes, 5 tests, and extra credit to go with it. He drops one quiz and test with the lowest score and gives amazing curves. Barely any homework.

Class is super boring. 5 tests, 5 quizzes, no final. Drops lowest scores on quiz/test. Tests are easy if you work for them. Quizzes are only easy if you take thorough notes in class. You must pay attention to the smallest details to do well. The curves are amazing tho.

Barry is connected to the real world so you know he doesn't just spew bs. His Lectures are amazing and he knows what he is talking about. Read the book or you wont pass, each exam is only based on the book and he grades on a very lenient curve. His pop quizzes are based on lectures and guest speaker. Show up, read the book and you will pass.

Dr. Schreiber is a great professor that is always willing to help. He offers many extra credit opportunities and curves all tests very generously (34/60 was an A on one test). Reading is pertinent to passing this class. Be ready to read in fine detail because his tests can be very specific.

Dr. Schreiber is a nice guy and class is pretty interesting. Exams and quizzes are tough! Tests are completely based on the chapters in the book so make sure you get the book and do the readings. Do the readings, do the study guide and the online practice quizzes from the book and you can do well! Grades are curved and there EC available!

Dr. Schreiber is a very good professor. He makes lecture interesting even when the subject matter is boring. The class is very difficult and requires a lot of studying. I think he does it to weed out the people who truly want to go into criminal justice. He does give extra credit for attendance and some optional assignments to make up for the work.

Very tough class. Most work is independent and it is very hard to know what you are suppose to be doing due to the professor not clarifying well. Also Dr. Schreiber is quite difficult to get a hold of and does not get back to you "in 3 business days" such as his syllabus suggests. Curves grades, but what does grading student low make them think??

He lectures, but his lectures are not on the exams. He lectures are only for the quizzes. You have the read the textbook yourself on your own time for the exams. It is an interesting class if you are thinking about anything law. You do have to work for a grade, but that is what gets you in to it. I would take it again in a heart-beat!

He's a great professor with a great sense of humor. The lectures can range anywhere from boring to exciting. You need to show up cause he sometime will have random pop quizzes and on certain days he give you an extra credit point for attendance. Quizzes are over what you learned in class, You need to STUDY for exams, study every detail from the book

He's a good professor with interesting lectures but all the quizzes are on what is taught in class and the exams are on the textbook. He doesn't teach anything in the exams so you have to be able to teach yourself and make sure you read the textbook chapters or you will fail.

Dr.Schreiber is a really nice guy, but can be hard to contact because he is a very busy man. Exams were hard, but he curves them a lot. Must use book and study almost every single detail. Attendance is not mandatory but on certain days he will give participation points to those who were there. Overall, very nice guy i would recommend.

This class requires a lot of reading. The tests are very difficult even with the study guide provided. It is a lot of information to remember. That being said this class has quite a curve. 329/506 points is an A and I thought the papers and discussions were quite easy. He is a good professor and is available to help his students when needed.

Worst "professor" there is. Does not have an interest in his students, no communication, no feedback. Uses old lectures and material that were recorded years ago. Tests are all total recall, short answer essay. You will leave this class feeling ripped off. Do not take this class if he is the instructor.
