Great Teacher. I took his class over the summer and he really cares for his students but try to by a different version of the textbook because the Chabot one is expensive. Make sure you know at least 300 words in spanish before you take the class. TAKE HIS CLASS.

This man changed my life. I was a hopeless dropout. He told me that I was smart and capable and I could make something of myself. 23 years later I can look back at the people who had a pivoting role in my life. He was a major factor. I am so grateful that I met him. Senor Zermeno, thank you! Great teaching is never forgotten.

Zermeno = AWESOME! He is flat-out one of the best instructors at Chabot. He takes Spanish very seriously, and you WILL learn; at the same time he makes it fun. Class was always a pleasure. I also took his SPAN 1B class. I highly, highly, highly recommend Zermeno.

i firggin love this guy. hes got a heart bigger than you'll ever imagine, he is passionate about everything he does! life is beautiful and he will remind you how fun life and learning is! yes he only speaks spanish, but he will work with you! seriously, if you want to learn spanish, theres no better teacher!

Hilarious teacher!! Impossible to fall asleep or even get distracted. Helps in every way he can, so its hard to fail. BE WARNED: You need a sense of humor because You will be picked on! If you cant take that, then this class is not for you. Other than that, by far one of the best teachers ive had.

Hilarious teacher. As a warning though, he speaks nothing but Spanish in class. It's in a way you can follow though. Keep up with homework though, or you'll fall behind. Homework itself is not that big in the overall grade, but it's helpful for learning. Great teacher! Even though it was at 7:30am! :D
