François is amazing at what he does. Period. You can tell he doesnt love teaching grammar and he gets dry at times, but still has lots of subtle humour. Hes a bit hard to hear but still teaches really well.

Prof Eygun is reasonable, fair, and has a very approachable disposition. He encourages the enjoyment of learning and is very realistic in his expectations and demands. As a native English speaker, I felt comfortable to practice and improve my French in a non-judgmental and encouraging environment. The pace of his course helped my growth.

Incredible prof., my favorite at the Mount. Very strong teacher in literature/French history/poetry courses, very interesting lectures with alloted time for discussions, very open to different opinions, can be a tricky marker but exams are fairly easy, very quarky sense of humor, all-around great prof. and very helpful to my academic career

Best on staff for: French literature (especially 19th-20th century lit) Pros: very patient, funny, engaging, available for help. Cons: Not best prof for grammar. Doesn't like teaching it and it shows.

Great prof, especially once he gets comfortable with his class. AWESOME for lit/poetry classes, efficient teacher for grammar classes but you can tell he finds them tedious. Understanding and will go out of his way to help you succeed, you just need to hold up your end. Bonus: Master of the innuendo and other subtle humor. Pepper deserved.

Professor Eygun is not the most interesting professor, but he certainly gets his point across, and covers all the material. He's a relatively easy marker and very helpful if you go see him during office hours.

Quirky, shy man with a subtle but cheeky sense of humor. Doesn't make class terribly interesting most of the time but gets the point across well. Knows his stuff! Classes taken: 2203/2204, 2215
