I have never seen a meanest professor like him. He is so bad, rude, likes to take points off, and doesn't know how to teach. He needs 25 mins every morning to talk about nothing. I'm leaving CMU because of him.

Frank is a nice guy, but the way he grades lab reports and hw is abysmal. He expects you to know everything and know whenwhere to put information. You could have exactly what he wanted but in the wrong section and you will get marked down like you don't have it all. Try and argue with him and he just yells at you so dont bother, he wins

I expected to have to work hard being in a required senior class, but this professor blew me out of the water with the amount of work to be done. He gives 3 design projects that are due within two weeks of assigning and then also assigns homework and midterms at the same time. My favorite quote from him is " you're seniors, you can be busy." :_(

ROBOTICS: Cheng needs about 10-20 mins every morning to talk about nothing. The last 20 mins of class he blows through notes on the overhead and doesn't give adequate time to write everything down (he doesn't post notes online). Everything is an analogy, and if you ask him a direct question he will talk until you are confused. VERY ineffective prof

Definetly knows the material. He tends to kind of ramble on on certain things but that is because he is so excited and enthusiastic about the subject. Notes are right out of the book, homework helps out a lot...if you have time, do extra hw to help you on the tests! I know I should of, it would of helped me more. Overall good prof, really nice guy

This proffesor tries his best to help you understand the class, but is ineffective at best. There is an extreme language barrier. I am a 3.5 student and I worked so hard to get a C+. Consider others options before taking this class.

He is a nice guy. he enjoys teaching. helps alot and is apreciative of q's. dont bother trying to understand his lactures. just watch for the hand movements and get the course packet it helps. his tests are a exact copy of them just change the math.
