rude, arrogant, learn nothing and has favorites and non-favorites. gives impression its an easy class, but the fact that you learn absolutely nothing makes easy tests hard. almost changed majors because of him. only accounting class got a B in. worst prof. i ever had. lack of learning from this class has bitten me back in other classes

Incompetent professor, an incredible disservice to Acct majors serious about the CPA exam. It's true that the class is literally no work, but that means no learning either.

Comment:
This is exactly how ACCT 303 should be taught. You've already done enough bookwork and solving a bunch of problems in 301 & 302. Why do the same thing again in 303? Prof C discussed current events and how the accounting profession has changed over the years. Textbook problems are gone over, but more emphasis on what you will face in the real world

Comment:
He does not teach at all - not even exaggerating. He will talk about current events for 20-40 minutes in a 50 min class. When he feels like teaching he sloppily scribbles a single problem on the board and goes over them for 2 seconds, never explaining the numbers or theories. If you actually want to learn accounting DO NOT take this class.

MY GOD DON'T EVER TAKE THIS CLASS. Don't let the previous ratings fool you! He DOES NOT teach you any accounting whatsoever! If you can teach yourself entirely out of a textbook, then by all means take him! If you have read before that if he likes you, you will get an A, don't believe it! TESTS ARE RUBBISH AS WELL. Most of class has a D avg! BOOOO!

Horrendous. Doesn?t teach concepts thoroughly. Test scores are on average in the 60s. If you can learn independently it will be a fairly easy B. If you need instruction, you will find it very difficult to do well. easy to pass with a c/d. doesn't let you review tests...avoid if possible and DO NOT TAKE IF AN ACCOUNTING MAJOR!!

Besides the fact that he's a nice guy and gives an occational answer to a test question... he doesnt have any buisness being a teacher. He doesnt lecture on the principles we are suposed to learn.. just tells about clients and other stories he can fill up 30mins before he lets you go. you are better off getting a teacher that.....well teaches.

I take both his Acct201 and Acct202. I feel that the Acct201 was easy and fun. But currently I take his class It seems that 202 is harder then his 201 whatever the handout or the tests.

DONT TAKE HIS CLASS!!! Possibly the worst teacher I have ever had. He never talks about accounting he isnt willing to work with students after class he just sucks. You MUST teach yourself if your in his class. Our highest grade was like an 84 and more then half the class failed both tests. He's horrible!

He DEFINETLY has favorites...and if you're not one of them then that sucks for you. He's a nice man but just make sure you're one of his favorites because that means it a better grade for you. Its not that he's a bad teacher it's just that accounting will be hard to understand just about anywhere you go.

I don't know why people recommend this professor he is HORRIBLE!can't teach,is always talking about playboy and his bar, has favorites, lets his favorites copy during exams so you're skrewed if you're not in his "favorites" list. He really doesn't teach you anything its pointless going to class. DON'T TAKE HIM!unless you're willing to teach yourself

Frank is the man. Ask him about "Donedock". He'll tell you all about this bar, a jewelry store and the Knights of Columbus. Cool teacher..don't think too hard about what he asks you. If you speak-up you will be answered. people who think he can't teach are just to dumb to get his points.
