30 years ago I took stats from Jessoe, I still remember the fist day. He guided many of us through Stats in a way that we learned, more than math! Hope maybe reads some of these to really know what an influence he was on so many.

Absolutely the best teacher I have ever had the fortune of meeting in my entire life!!! I totally HATED MATH and this was not a class I wanted to take. He turned my life around and made the subject of Math interesting for everyone there! And he built confidence in his students. All I can say is HE IS THE BEST TEACHER EVER! I wish him all the best.

This is "the" best math teacher I have ever had. He's brilliant. He opened my eyes. I would get a degree in mathematics if I could take all my courses from him. My only complaint about the guy is that he retired. I would be willing to come back to junior college from my current four year school to take more courses with him.

Seriously, WE NEED MR. JESSOE to teach all math teachers HOW to teach students! His style of teaching is SUPERIOR! I would have dropped college if it weren’t for Jessoe’s drive (and push) to help (me) EVERY student complete his class. I graduated and am now attending Pepperdine! Thank you Jessoe

I will remember him forever. He made me like math, and truly inspired me. He's the type of professor that turns 2.4 high school students like myself into 3.9's. I almost cried when he told me he was retiring. He's an extremely good teacher. I miss him! I really hope he decides teaches again.

He is a great teacher. The hardest working teacher I ever known. He gives you a chance to bring your grades up. A lot of helpfull office hours. its math 185. you need to be serious about this class. you will enjoy math even if you are not a math person.

He is really good. Ahard professor but he really makes the class interesting and he teaches in a way that makes it easier to understand. There is a lot of homework in the calss, and quizes every class. But if you are serious about the class take him.

If you're a serious student looking to learn something, take Jessoe. As long as you show up and study, there should be no reason why you cant receive an A in his class. He informs students about transferring to a UC instead of a CS. Believe me, go to a UC

His lectures are very straight-forward. Anyone should be able to pass his class with at least a C if they paid attention to lectures and understands it. He focuses a lot on grasping the concept, so I highly recommend him as a math professor for any class!
