Comment:

I enjoyed this class, but it is a lot of work. You will write an essay every class period. You have to go to class. You have to take the online quizzes every week. But it is nearly impossible to make less than a B if you do what you need to. Certainly learned a lot despite the fact that Dr. Leeming gives little to no instruction.

Comment:

Great professor and class! Do not take this class if you hate writing, although it improves your writing skills. Two papers a week, half of class time is discussion in small groups with one of the LAs, weekly online quiz. Honors- 8-10 page research paper due at end of semester. Not a hard class if you work, it takes up at least 3-5 hours a week.

It's alot of work. No lecture at all. One 300-500 word essay due every class worth 10pts. Discussion with classmates and TA's worth 5pts each class. One quiz online each week. dont need book. the book is under google books, use that when taking quiz. Need to put alot of effort, but if u do , u will get an A. Write your essays b4 class.

Easy, but time consuming. One 300 word research essay due EACH class mtg. Really easy, but you get burned out really quick. No midterm or final. One quiz per week online (ultd chances to take in that week period). The LA's (learning assistants=TA's, same thing) grade all of your work. 3 essay grades dropped, 1 quiz grade dropped. Easy tho.

thiss class is soooo easy if you jus show up and do your work you are gauranteed a A! also they drop like 6 grades at the end of the semester. you really dont need the book i got a A without it so dont waste your money..TAKE THIS CLASS FOR AN A!!!! I LOVED IT!!

This instructor is sooooo nice. If you come to class you will pass. If you type your papers and turn them in you get an easy 10 points (do them ahead of time at home). If you take your quizzes (you have an unlimited amount of chances to take) you get an easy 15 to 16 points. When I say this is the easiest A i am not lying.... I enjoyed this course!

I would recommend taking Dr. Leeming's class. Especially if you dislike lecture classes. We meet in the lecture auditorium once a week and in classroom the other 2 times. There are undergrads who grade the work, and he has a monotonous voice. But I do recommend his class, very nice guy and willing to help.

This is an interesting class that requires quite a bit of time, but it is EASY. Attendance is required to get a good grade. Textbook is required for quizzes. If you want a great first experience in PSYC this is the class to take. Dr. Leeming is a friendly, fun, and overall fantastic guy! Catch him before he RETIRES!!

Dr. Leeming is a fantastic, fun-loving guy who has so much knowledge to offer. Don't let his tone of voice fool you-- he is not boring and is willing to help! Required: attendance, computer (WebCT), and book. Not required: book reading (except for tests), legwork, and note-taking. You'd be a dum-dum not to take him, Oliver, or Anderson! WONDERFUL!!

This class is super easy, but you don't really learn anything. All you do is go to class, write and essay, and then leave. But, if you don't like lecture classes then this is the class for you. Only reason I made a B was cuz I had to go to the hospital and missed a week of class.

Dr. Leeming is a very knowledgable Psych professor, but unlike most academia he is humble and focused on student success rather than his own ego. He also gets published more times than the most of his academic counterparts, while maintaining a realistic view of students. His class 'tricks' you into learning. Highly rcomended regardless of major.

Awesome teacher! Highly Recommended if you want to pass psychology 1200 the first time. In this class if you do the work and pass the test you pass the class with an A or B. All stdents are not good test takers and if your one, this is the class for you, because you are not just graded on tests.
