Not recommended. Wastes class time discussing irrelevant topics. Policies and expectations are all over the place. Says one thing and then does something completely different. If you want your money's worth take the other professors in the department.

He is quite unprofessional. For example he conducts the three hour block in one hour. He gives a ridiculous amount of reading for one week (300 pages) and constantly berates students for not reading. He always talks about his connection with the psychology department at Jersey City University. He assigns random grades without justification.

Not recommended. Very inconsistent with instructions. Rushes through class lectures, cancels classes, does not write notes and does not want to explain readings. Not approachable with questions regarding grades etc.

If you care about your GPA do not take him. It does not matter if you do everything required of you, he will still take major points off for minor things like using a word which he did not like. (-10 points) Not a fair grader at all ! By far the worst experience i have had in the 4 years i have been in school. Definitely avoid !

This prof is very cool and down to earth. He is very anal w writing formats which sucks because he will take points off. Other than that, as long as you read each novel and participate, you'll do well. Easiest lit teacher you can take. Leniant grader as well. Alot to read. Pay attention and take good notes . Midterm and final is take home.

He's an awesome guy. He goes off on tangents about nothing which makes the 3 hour class move quickly. The movies he chooses are a little raunchy, but if you can get over that, and a hefty amount of reading, you'll do well in his class.

He make this class really fun, but you must read all the books in order to pass the quizzes, midterm, and final. The midterm and final are also open book essays, which are easy if you attend class. Sounds overwhelming but EASY A!
