Horrible class. At one point he gave us a really difficult piece of abstract lyrics to analyze, and he asked what was the personification was. The class didn't answer; we didn't know *he had never talked about it before*. He started cursing at us, and told us "if we didn't want to work in class, we could sit in silence." So we did. For 20+ mins.

UGH! I used to love lit, but now its my LEAST favorite class I have. Dr. Pianso gets sooo off track and he never seems to talk about anything relevant. I havent learned much of anything from his class at all. One thing that REALLy bugs me is he swears and he refers to things such as Playboy. I know the professors here dont have to be christian, but this is Central METHODIST university. You'd think they wouldnt swear or refer to**** in class. I find it extremely offensive.

He gets off topic very easily, and talks in accents as if he were Arnold Swartzenager, and as if he were Napolean Dynomite. He teaches things that we have all learned back in High School. I can hardly help but fall asleep!
