Her speech class was more interesting and fun than i expected. You don't have to show up everyday but as much as possible, especially speech days. Please do not rent or buy the book, you will never open it. You will only need the book for the midterm and final but they are not many points and can get 75+ percent without it.

Really nice teacher who is super organized and prompt with blackboard/email. Attendance is mandatory. You can rent the book for less money than the store and you will learn valuable information! Would highly recommend

Professor Hale is an exceptional professor who I would take twice over. She is very sweet, funny, fair to all students, and is very honest about assignments with plenty of time to complete. I 100% recommend her for COMM 1105, or any oral communications class for that matter!

Ms. Hale is a very competent teacher. The material is dry and not terribly interesting, but she does a good job of keeping the class engaged. Her lectures are simple and to-the-point. She grades pretty hard, though; you need to be on top of your game. Overall, I would recommend Ms. Hale- but don't take COMM 200 unless you have to!

Excellent Professor, highly recommended! GO FRANKIE! Understands that not everyone is comfortable in front of the class and keeps critisism constructive. Each speech that was delivered she found at least one point to tell you that you did well. A+ teacher in my book!

I took this as an online class, I loved it. She was a wonderful teacher. She made everyone feel welcome, and did not limit you on your speech choices. She graded on an individual bases and included effort. She was extremly positive and motivating. She answered all my questions via e-mail in a timely mannor. Great teacher!!!

Frankie was wonderful. I was very nervous and she made EVERYONE in our class feel at ease. She loved every speech and graded based on eforts and understanding of the student NOT on her personal interest in the subject of the speeches we gave. Overall she is extremely fair and interested in building student confidence.

This woman actually told me in front of the class that "I don't think anyone can stand to sit through that again." Not to mention it was a speech class and she was pretty aware of how nervous everyone was. In my opinion you just don't say things like that...especially when you're teaching- the whole reason we're there is TO LEARN! not feel stupid

I really enjoyed her class. I was scared of it at first cuz am not really a good public speaker; however, I did overcome it cuz I felt comfortable in her class. I liked her. Although she is a little mysterious at times. Her class is interesting.

This instructor is less than professional. Don't expect her to understand if a crisis comes up or help with the speeches. She fails to help the student and passes the buck along to another speech lab for the student to seek help. She is SUPER human and makes a student feel like she is above the rest of the world. Class A SNOB.

i took this to duck COMM105-i thought class was interesting-i actually learned things that i never dreamed this class would teach you-i thought she was very helpful, interesting and smart and i HATE this sort of thing-you do have to give a group presentation and a panel discussion-its not really easy, but it could be worse-i highly recommend
