I Did not learn anything useful in his class. All he talked about was himself. How much money he has, how many people want him to invest in their ideas, his boat, his cabin yadayadayada. Half the class was spent talking about him and all of his accomplishments. The class itself was relatively easy but he was no help in teaching any of the material.

It was a pleasure to have Mr. Honerkamp as a teacher. He is intelligent and is someone you can turn for help or guidance. He's truly a professor that will always be there for you. I agree that if you respect him, he will respect you. His stories are the best and if you have a sense of humor, he will make you smile. You'll learn a lot from this man!

i was there for every class. and he sucked. he talked about himself for almost everyclass. He talked about his "cash bonuses" that he used to buy his rolex, his role at Dow blah blah blah, same stories over and over. and this wasnt just me. All 10 people in my class were fed up with him. If the final was about him, i would have aced it.

Professor is not going to treat you like a child. You better be ready for anything and you better have 100% listening skills, it will be helpful in this class. Overall, the teacher had great insights on the business world and preparing people for competition. He also had funny and very serious stories to tell. Respect him, he'll respect you.

Good professor, but tells the same stories over and over again and talks about all of his achievements all throughout the course...too much by anyone's stnadards. The class is easy, you are allowed up to 2 absences and there is rarely any homework. He gives you the topic of each question on each test the class before.

HONERKAMP IS A GREAT TEACHER, HALF OF THESE BAD RATINGS ARE FROM PEOPLE THAT ARE ALWAYS LATE TO CLASS OR MISS ALL THE TIME. HE IS VERY INTELLIGENT, HE WILL GIVE YOU RESPECT IF YOU GIVE HIM THE SAME. SO TO THOSE WHO GAVE HIM A BAD RATING, GROW UP!! HE IS PREPARING YOU FOR THE REAL WORLD, YOU CAN'T SHOW UP 15 MINUTES LATE FOR WORK, SO GET OVER IT!!!!

If you are a male, you WILL struggle in this class. He will offer two absences, tell you that they won't count agaisnt your record and BAM! There they are on your record. He also doesn't understand that the football program is #1 at NU, not his teachings. Be prepared to listen to him talk about himself throughout the class and take shots at you

Don't take him! Fred is arrogant and full of himself. You will sit for 2 hours in class,(no breaks) the first hour is him talking about how great he is and the second hour is powerpoint slides. He is judgmental, rude and thinks that his class should take prority over everything else in your life. I cannot believe others don't see though his BS.
