Very not clear. You will be confused and lost with no direction. Project documentation is super vague and you never know what he wants for exams. Good luck

How is he still teaching? He doesn't even know the material. Wonder what the department would think if someone shows a video of him during lecture to see.

No grading rubric. The grading is subjective and VERY INCONSISTENT. Concepts not explained clearly. His exams are all over the place, especially the multiple choice questions. You will never know what he wants/expects. Good luck.

I have worked at 2 software companies way bigger than his precious Bell Labs ever was or will be, and this guy knows as much about modern software engineering as a fish knows how to climb stairs. If what he teaches is considered CS, then you can call a theater arts major a Computer Scientist.

the entire class is just paying homage to the agile method and creating documents for a group project which differ little from each other. he only ever talks about his time at Bell Labs and won't ever move past that. it's unfortunate that this class is required for all CS majors because we learned nothing about modern software projects.

Extremely difficult grader. Teaches something puts something different in the lecture. Lover of IBM and Apple and will mention stories about them almost every other lecture. Grading is soleley dependent if he likes your answers. There is no right and wrong.

All things the professor does is reading the slides and talking about some jokes about the companies like Apple or Microsoft. The exam content basically has no relationship with what he talked about in class. The professor is the worst one I've ever met in my student career. DO NOT TAKE his courses.

Read slide only. If something wrong and confusing happens, he just skip the slide. The course on second half is so confusing that I have to read book on my own.

The professor either reads the slides or tells stories during the lecture. Totally disorganized with multiple times of syllabus change during the whole semester. Terrible slides lack continuity, with terminologies never found on textbook or the Internet. Expect a lot of textbook reading and group project work if you're going to take this class.

Besides the unclear slides and expression, the arrogant attitude is the real problem. It looks like he just made all the slides in 5 mins and kept using it for 15 years. The questions in the test has nothing to do with the reviews in the slides. This lazy, arrogant teacher just ruins the reputation of this school. Worst teacher ever.

Unclear expression, bad slides, regular digression, meaningless review (much of review will not be in the exam). No coding in Software engineering, just reports and reports. Never try SE, even advisor recommends it.

His class was boring as he just used to cruise through his slides. Sometimes even he didn't know what was there on his slides, he would beat around the bush sometimes answering the questions raised by students. Just go through his slides. Expect Relational Algebra, Designing DB schema and writing queries and ER diagram in both tests. NOTHING ELSE!
