He teaches at Vassar as well, an accounting class. When I came to his office hours for help and he saw that I was struggling with his tests he pretty much suggested I just drop the class. I was eager to improve but left his office feeling helpless.

Wonderful professor. The material is difficult, as to be expected. This is an accounting class.. it is not for everyone. You must do the homework, or you will fail. He tells you this exactly. The material will not be understood without any effort. He makes the material clear, but you must do the work to reinforce it.

He was a really good professor. I took him for a summer course and he was amazing. Do the hw, there's a lot of it. But you'll understand the class better. He's very clear in his explanations and gives plenty of examples so that you understand. Test are okay they consist of multiple choice and a couple of math problems. Overall he's a good teacher

Horrible teacher. Teaches very fast and only in a way you'll understand if you already know the material. When you asks answers he can not answer them in a way you understand. When I was failing and asked for help, told me I might as well drop the class rather than offering help. Told me there was no point in trying.

the class is extremley hard, unless accounting comes easy to you. the teacher goes way to fast, but also has alot to teach. do not take this teacher unless you are already familiar with accounting. hes a really nice guy, but will not feel bad for you if you fail. he is always willing to meet and to help you with the material. hard tests

good teacher, goes fast but just ask him to stop and explain. multiple choice on tests are killer. tells you exactly what is on the test before giving it. homework is checked in class, not graded. not difficult if you pay attention and do your work. highly recommended.

So-so teacher. Has 4 tests during the sdemester and then a final. The lowest test is dropped which helps a lot. Class material is hard, but that's not his fault, and he does have a passion for what he does. You need to read the textbook, especially since his notes aren't that great.

don't take this guy. he bases he grade solely on 4 of 5 tests. assigns hw every other class that can take up to 2 hours but you never get credit for it. no class participation involved in the grade. if you have to take him make sure you read the textbook for the tests. he teaches you the stuff that is involved in his short answer q's but not others

Most people who criticized this professor are either lazy, stupid, or both. He can seem like a hard professor, but as long as you DO the homework, you'll do fine on the tests. He even tells you what's on the tests. He is a friendly person who loves accounting. Recommend taking him. He ties in real life stories to class. Makes it interesting.

Very nice guy. Material is tough and there is quite a bit to know. Semester grade is based solely on 5 tests(including the final). He takes off the lowest grade(excluding the final). Class format is one day of lecture, then the next day goes over the homework(that isn't collected, but I recommend you do it). Goes over material that'll be on test

all these people are crazy. he is a good guy and not a bad teacher at all. you have to do a little extra work, but it all works out in the end, and he is also willing to help you with any questions that you have. accounting is hard in general and it will be with any teacher

Very nice guy, bad teacher, he is the professor that you get warned about in High School - doesn't teach learn yourself through the book. You have to teach yourself financial accounting. His tests are hard. If your not an acct major, don't take him.
