the course is project based with assignments that change each week. You can make the projects as easy or tough as you want. It depends on how much you want to put into the course. Bianchi doesn't really lecture, he just comes in , sits in front of the class and talks (sometimes for quiet a while) like he's having a conversation with you. Good prof.

Completely confusing mess of a professor. There is no background requirements for the class yet it ended up being full of CS majors who already knew what they were doing. Don't take unless you are familiar with programming or MAX program. Exams are easy even if you don't know what is going on (mult. choice on canvas).

He's definitely out there. I had him for an IQP advisor and I saw a lot of other groups struggling with him not really *grasping* their project and then giving them unhelpful feedback or impossible tasks. But, to my knowledge everyone came out with an A. He doesn't care about the report, but is adamant about the final presentation.

had a good experience with professor in puerto rico for two months. he's pretty calm, lots of ideas, in the end lets you figureout things on your own. not to tough on grades, cool, really experienced

if you have him for iqp, be prepared for him to spend your PQP going over unrealistic scenarios in his attempt to bring "creativity" to your IQP. he's a great man but he is not helpful when it comes to writing a 100 page IQP report

Cons: you can't really solve grade-related problems with him. he doesn't reply to emails. Pros: for everything else, Best professor. WPI is very lucky to have him. So successful in life and so intellectual. You can listen to him 10 hours without getting bored...

He worked with me to figure out the project, was fun to work with, and showed a willingness to adapt. He was hard to find at times, and often was away from campus for many days at a time, but it worked out in the end. A great time and I'd do it all again.

Very knowledgable, class is very discussion based. It sometimes seems like discussions go nowhere, because you can't really argue with him, since he knows he is always right, but they are interesting anyway. Look up a bio on him some time, he's done a lot of cool stuff.
