Frederick is one of the most helpful professors you could have in the media school. He treats his students as professionals rather than students. There's not a lot of hand holding and very high expectations. He treats you the way a producer or studio would, thus making his class beneficial for life after graduation.

Lewis is a good guy and he respects you if you respect him. If you give him your best effort than he will proudly give you his time and advice. I recommend a documentary class with him. He's produced several documentaries and there is a lot to learn from him. He's a tough grader, but if you try your very best, an A is not out of reach.

The most beneficial professor I've ever had. He expects a lot from his students and those who are used to being babied tend to have fairly negative feelings about him. His classes offer the most realistic experience to a professional career a student could ask for, just be prepared to work and he'll have no problem helping you along the way.

Hey is a pretty terrible teacher, who lets his bitterness seep through the moment a student doesn't do things his way. The harsh reality is he wasn't good enough to make it and he now just takes the credit for projects students work their butts on and put their own money into, in order to appear important to colleagues.

Took a script writing course with Lewis a couple years ago. This course destroyed my interest in filmmaking. Quite unprofessional and pretty disrespectful. Called me a "shithead" in class. Likes to toot own horn more than he likes to teach. Hardly ever discussed the script writing process.

If you show that you care about your work and this industry then he is a wonderful professor who is extremely professional. One of the finest teachers in the program at Ohio University, and I have had all but three professors in the school. If you care very little then this won't apply because you aren't showing the mutual respect you should.
