Fredi wasn't the easiest professor, but her class was so interesting and she really makes you want to participate. A lot of work, but there is also a lot of extra credit opportunities, and she's always willing to help if you're stuck with something. Definitely take her! Thought I'd get a C but ended up with an A. :D

Fredi is so passionate about what she teaches. This class has a LOT of work, but if you do the work you will get the grade. This course really opens your eyes, I highly recommend taking it. There is many extra credit opportunities, and the projects are really interesting and informative. Take this class!!!

Fredi is such an amazing teacher! No matter how interested you are in this subject take this class! I can guarantee you will be interested after the semester. The assignments are not hard, plus she offers LOTS of extra credit. I had this class 7-9:45PM and it wasn't bad at all, she keeps you interested and engaged. She is also very helpful & nice.

Fredi Avalos (don't call her C'de Baca, she doesn't like it!) is a great teacher. I learned so many things that I can use in life. She'll scare the boohyee outta you on the first day saying that there's a 25 pg paper. But actually, she's NOT an evil witch. As you get to know her, she'll softens up and you could get away with murder! Love ya Fredi!

She's a great instructor. Like others have said, you do a lot of reading. This reading isn't just busywork, though. The reading is to present you with different viewpoints, which makes sense when you're studying communication. She knows everything about the subject, and she's always there to help when you need it.

She is nice & helpful but lectures were unorganized. I got an A but she didn't teach us anything!! I wanted LEARN!! I feel this class was the waste of my money & time! She required 4 books for this class but we used all of them rarely. No midterm and final. 1 group paper.
