Dr. Chang is overall an okay professor. He has an accent which was tough at first but you get used to it. He genuinely cares about the environment and talks about his contributions to the environment which are btw quite impressive. His tests are long but not to hard if you study the lectures he posts. Great sense of humor but lectures drag out

He goes through notes really fast. He is funny. But really hard to follow. His tests are HUGE... but he does grade on a curve which helps. He is really smart and knows what he's talking about, he just seems like he expects you to know what he's talking about too.

Dr. Chang is a fabulous teacher. He is brilliant, has a great sense of humor, and always has interesting side notes to the information he is presenting. This class would be nearly impossibly difficult if not for the take-home tests and the standard deviation curve, but he is a fair grader.

I loved his tangents and how he usually managed to tie them back to whatever topic he was lecturing on, somehow. His method of grading is what got me an A, otherwise I would have gotten a B.

Intro to Env. Sci very frustrating. read the whole book but the tests were specific questions. If the class joins together, they can change his mind easily. Don't take notes in class, just copy them from the notes he puts in the library. Nice guy, very smart, not a very good teacher.

Tip I learned from Dr Chang; save time by reading while you are driving to the Cities every weekend But you will hit lots of deer. Very knowledgeable prof, very enthusiastic and very stinky fieldtrips.

Very passive man, who at times is very hard to understand. He reads the notes word for word off the overhead, but they are in the library, so that's good. Before this class, I never had a 300 question final.
