She moves very fast, but she doesn't have much of a choice. ALL material HAS to be covered by the end of the class before you move onto Micro / A&P II. She gives you SO many online resources (lectures recorded, her notes) If you want to pass a science course you have to put in time. She's very understanding and has never refused to help or clarify.

One of the best professors I've had. There is a lot of material but the tests are very straightforward, no trick questions. She posts audio of all her lectures online. Don't take her if you aren't willing to study hard. Don't get the textbook.

I only had her for lab and her lab tests were hard. On one test she told our class I'll give you a hint you need to study this so I studied it front and back and it wasn't even on the test! I don't understand why she felt the need to trick her students. It wasn't fair to me and for that reason I had lost all respect for her as a teacher.

Great professor knows what she is talking about. She does not use power points but does post notes and records lectures. It's not an easy course and takes a lot of time and effort but is all worth it because you learn a lot! Weekly quizzes are helpful to keep you on track. She really enjoys what she teaches and it shows In her lectures .

Dr. Maguire is a great and knowledgable professor. If you want a good grade, you really have to work for it. She records her lectures for the students and has weekly quizzes. Both allow me to stay focused in the course. I definitely would recommend if you're ready for a challenge.

She is a very good teacher. It can be difficult at times, but if you spend enough time studying you will be fine.Her notes, objectives are very helpful. She will answer your questions and if she sees you are trying hard she will help you in any way she can.She is not there to babysit anyone. It's up to you if you want to study or not. Good luck

This is by far the worst teacher I have had at 4C i would never reccomend someone to take a class with her. She takes to fast all she does is sit and write notes asking a question is like a crime and she explains everything in regards to animals when most are going to be a nurse. Asking for help or expressing concerns is not permitted.

If you haven't taken A&P I with her, you are already a step behind. She moves so fast during class that you can either listen or take notes, but not both. Notes up on black board are pretty confusing at times. Asking questions in class is like trying to stop a moving train. Students that fall behind are left behind. Hardest teacher Ive had in 6 yrs

Great A&P professor in a difficult class,with a"sink or swim attitude." The information/spelling required to memorize is massive. Really good teacher but definitely moves fast. Gives 10 question quizzes every week which could either help or hurt your grade. But if you review the material, you should be fine. She draws a lot to help explain the anatomy side of things. Good teacher as long as you don't slack.

Dr. Maguire is a wonderful professor had her for A&P I,II I wish there were more professors like her. She is dedicated to her students, puts notes on black board so you always know whats going on lectures are clearly from her notes she is always available for help and her tests are not hard if you study her notes. Dr. Maguire is a wonderful professor. I disagree strongly with earlier comments on not being organized. If you study, you will do very well. She is always available to help anyone and loves to see dedicated students. Excellent on correcting quizzes and tests in a timely manner. Would not reccomend taking her lab. Lecture she has a lot of note taking and her test are clear on what is expected to learn. Her notes are not great she makes them up as she goes making a lot of spelling mistakes,confusing.The Lab is memory recall nothing more nothing less. There is a lot of information to cover and she does not do it properlly.

Very organized and her lectures are interesting. A 10-question multiple choice quiz every week and 3 multiple choice exams throughout the semester. (The 3rd exam is a cumulutive final exam.) She expects you to know a lot, but she is very helpful and so, so nice. I like her alot and would take another class with her. Great sense of humor.
