Seems to be genuinely enthusiastic about the class, but his teaching methods are terrible. I had a 3 hour long course with him, and it's not uncommon for him to go off on 10-15 minute rants about politics that don't relate to the subject. Terribly scatter brained as well. His notes are terrible and don't cover the insanely long and hard tests.

Love Dr. Belcher! Def. made geography interesting, more so then what I thought it would be. He is super easy and super nice, he will answer any question you have and will help you as much as possible! Def. recommend !! :)

He is a very nice guy, but his tests are ridiculous and hard. Fill in the blank and matching. Lots and lots of memorization. No book, and the notes are more like a lot of random facts.

Dr. Belcher is one of the most enthusiastic professors at OUSC. He applies everything to real life situations to help you remember the terms. He is very helpful and approachable. He is very understanding. Would highly recommend his classes!

Dr. Belcher is an extremely happy professor who makes Geography interesting. I expected to be bored in the class but he made it bearable and fun. He will help you on labs, quizzes, and exams. Basically, he will practically give you then answers on graded assignments if you get the concept of where the question is going.

I think that he is a very sweet and nice person.. He really enjoys what he does. I find that he makes the class fun and interesting. One of the best professors that Ohio University Southern has!!! Will never forget him.

I had him in a class on the Athens campus, and he is quite possibly the best professor I've ever had! He is very funny, enthusiastic, and makes class fun! It was one of the only classes I've ever been to where the attendance stayed the same! Nobody, including me, wanted to skip his class! He is an awesome class, I wish he taught more at Athens!!!
