He gives you great study guides and sticks to them on the exams. The exams are all multiple choice and are based solely on the book. So, going to class really isn't all that necessary.

Very hard teacher; I think he believes himself to be more cultured than any other person within the room. He speaks way to fast and you never know what will be on the test, unless you read text. DO the study guides. Glad to here he is retiring at the end of this term.

ALL he would do was lecture STRAIGHT FROM the book. We had no discussions or anything else but straight lecture from the book (NO other information either!) and just two tests.

Awesome teacher...knew an unbelievable amount about subject matter, but was definately long winded. Do the study guides and do them right and you'll get an A...it is exactly whats on the test!

He talked too much and taking notes was confusing because he talks way too fast. I didn't know the tests would be so difficult from the way he talked in class. Very misleading. I am a good student and got a D in the class.

This professor, while interesting, seems more infatuated with his ability to tell a story than to teach that which will be on an exam. Don't get me wrong, he's a wonderful person with an interesting personality. But, I'm afraid that what we usually spoke of in class was not what we were tested over. This can be confusin to a new student.

Great class I only had to show up three times and I got a B. Get the review sheets, study very hard and then show up for the two tests and you will do well. (Do this at your own risk though.)

Fascinating, intense and enthusiastic particularly at the upper levels-- but don't speak-- he loves talking too much for you to get a word in edgewise. And oh, DO THE READING!!
