The class is hard if you don't come to class regularly and read the book. Dr. Bulla is fair though and very helpful. He goes a little fast and can be scatter-brained at times but super nice. His homework and labs are easy. He curves the tests and really wants to see his students do well.

Overall, this class is going to be difficult. Make sure you study your notes and never fall behind! He NEVER cancels class and holds class until the last minute he can! He goes VERY fast through the chapters so always keep up! Not a bad teacher- He knows his stuff, easy grader with labs & HW.

I HATE biology. But Dr. Bulla is one of my favorite teachers ever and really made the class so much better. He really cares that you understand. He is kinda quirky, but in a good way. He really knows his stuff. His tests aren't bad at all. No homework. Changes your lowest test grade to your match your test averages. Absolutely take him if you can.

He's a really nice guy. He's extremely helpful as long as you go and ask for help. Quizes and tests are straighforward. Lab worksheets are sometimes difficult, but all you have to do is ask for help. Really knows what he's talking about and likes to make jokes.

Dr. Bulla is the best. I had him for 2 BIO classes, and wish he taught every class at EIU. Super smart and helpful. Follow his study guides exactly for tests and you will get an A. He is hilarious too and not on purpose. Take Dr. Bulla for whatever BIO classes you can for sure!!!

Freshmen year! Awesome teacher really easy and he loves Fish! (the band) Highly recommend this guy, easy to listen too and hes a nerd fo show!BUt a great guy. Test's are all multiple choice so cheer up!
