He is an amazing guy. He is very passionate about his job and makes it fun and entertaining. No major major homework except some readings and papers. There is no final just a group presentation paper on an industry and how to improve it.

Professor David is the definition of an amazing professor. His lectures are fun and easy going. He brings in his own experiences and shows the class cool things. We had to write 2 8-10 page papers and one 4 page paper. It was straightforward and open ended.

He is an amazing professor. Super funny and has a great sense of humor which he brings into class lectures. Has very in depth class discussions and class was only a few papers.

Took a winter class with him, his teaching styles makes taking a class from 9-5 as good as it's going to get. Very funny and engaging. Journal due the first day of class which wasn't hard and two papers due two weeks after class which are pretty fun to write about. Was a bit unclear on directions because he wanted you to have freedom. Recomended.

Comment:
Did not like Professor David's class at all. First, ID 299 is not a requirement, an AS elective so you could take way more interesting classes than his. Lets you use laptops to "take" notes, hard to not get distracted. Lectures are boring and off-topic. Did not learn anything significant.

The last rating gets it right. Nice guy, good class, no tests or anything of the sort, and lectures are unpredictable, but nevertheless fun and engaging. Prof. David is absolutely brilliant, though; sure, you can tell he's liberal, which may seem heretical at a business school, but everyone benefits from facts every now and again.

Professor David wasn't bad. You don't have to read at all and he goes off topic a lot in class. No tests, no midterm, no final. Just 5 papers and one 8-10 page research paper due at the end of the semester. You are able to choose your topic which is nice. He is relaxed but isn't exactly clear how assignments will be graded or what he is looking for

really cool teacher, not a lot of work for this class, only a few papers, but if you are a bad writer, this class ends up being much harder than it should be. also, with such few grades, participation is very important, and every class is just class discussions.

be ready to participate. A wonderful engaging professor. He took real life and current events as the situations the class would examine. 5 papers, basically on topics of your choice. We spent time analyzing youtube videos as much as reading from the text and watching presentations. awesome prof. I really learned alot.

Very interesting professor. A very discussion based class- participation counts for 15% of grade. Class time isn't really pertinent to assignments, but worth going to. This particular class had an embedded service learning component. I'd take him again.

This is really a polysci class called Sociology of Globalization, or current events and how horrible Bush is. He has tenure, so that's clearly how he's able to talk about whatever he wants, regardless if it has anything to do with sociology. Make sure on writing assignemtns you use a liberal bias, or else you'll get a bad grade. Easy class, I guess

Class is a little bit boring, but there is no final! Grade is based upon class participation and journals/final paper. If you pay attention the least bit you will do fine in the class. Research paper takes a while, but the topic is open, so its not that bad. Overall, the class is pretty good. Do not take early in the day however.

not a bad class, mostly discussion and videos. pretty laid back prof. 6 papers throughout the semester and a final research paper. all papers are pretty open ended and you have to choose the specific topic.
