He once told me i should study 30 hrs each weekend for his class alone. Really tough class and comparible to 201. He did seem to skip the explaination on many rxns. I failed every exam horribly but still managed to get a c+. Toughest class by far.

I never got to take a class with him, sadly, but I was in his fellowship and he was my adviser. He has a reputation for being tough, but he has everybody's respect. He's easy to understand and helpful. He's the real reason I decided to come to Augie and I'm sad he's retiring before I can have him in class.
